A walk through the plantation is an education. As the retreat is on a working plantation, much may be learned about the cultivation of coffee, vanilla and spices like pepper, cardamom and cloves. Tropical fruit like jackfruit, guava, banana, papaya, avocado and passion fruit abound on the plantation.

Activities at Paradisa
Periyar Tiger Reserve makes a good day excursion. The organic tea factory, Ayurvedic nursery and medicine manufacturing unit are worth a visit. Countryside walks are truly exhilarating. Yoga at the poolside and relaxing massages by expert hands at our in- house Ayurveda centre make you feel pampered and cared for. A cultural performance in a dramatic setting completes a perfect day.
